It should be given as a supplementary treat, either on its own or with food, up to a maximum of two sachets per day.
Feliway presents this creamy treat for cats and kittens from 12 weeks of age. The six-pack allows you to try the beef flavour or have individual portions for specific situations. It can be licked straight from the sachet or added to their usual food.
Feliway Happy Snack contains alpha-casozepine, a hydrolysed milk protein with recognised calming properties. It can be offered before changes in environment, travel or handling that may cause the animal distress. This cat snack does not cause sedation and should be regarded as a dietary aid, not as a treatment for clinical symptoms.
It contains meat and animal by-products, including 4% beef; oils and fats; milk and milk products, including 0.5% milk protein hydrolysate with alpha-casozepine; and derivatives of plant origin. Its analytical constituents are: moisture 88 per cent, protein 3.5 per cent, fat 3.5 per cent, crude fibre 1 per cent and crude ash 1 per cent.
It contains no added sugars, gluten, colourings or preservatives. Each portion provides 8 kcal.
Open the sachet and offer it on its own, on top of wet or dry food, or on a spoon. Give up to two sachets a day and adjust the total daily ration to avoid excess calorie intake. Discard the contents if the sachet is damaged. Do not use on cats allergic to the animal proteins contained in the product.
