What is Lippen Kids?

It is a restorative lip balm for children, designed for the lips and the area around the mouth. The tube contains 10 ml and allows the product to be applied directly to the areas that need protection.

Ingredients

The ingredients include petrolatum, lanolin, beeswax, paraffin, liquid paraffin, cocoa butter, sodium saccharin, BHA and water.

When should it be used?

It is recommended for caring for lips and the skin around the mouth that have been affected by the cold, wind, repeated use of tissues, drooling or rubbing against a dummy. It can be applied several times a day to clean, dry skin.

Precautions

Apply the lip balm externally only and avoid the inside of the mouth. Do not use if you are allergic to lanolin or any other ingredient. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Texture and function of the ingredients

Petrolatum, paraffin and liquid paraffin create a film that limits moisture loss. Lanolin and beeswax provide consistency, whilst cocoa butter completes the fatty phase. The product does not contain any pharmacologically active ingredients for treating catarrhal conditions: its purpose is to protect the irritated skin around the mouth. Wipe away any traces of saliva before applying a thin layer and reapply as and when the area requires it.
