What the mesh does

The mesh retains large pieces whilst allowing small portions and juices to pass through when the baby bites or sucks. This barrier reduces the size of the food available, but does not eliminate the risk of choking nor does it replace a safe feeding position.

How to prepare a portion

Wash the feeder, insert a small amount of suitable soft fruit or cooked vegetable, and close it until you hear or feel it click into place. Check the seal by pulling gently before giving it to your baby.

Supervision during use

Keep the child seated and within arm’s reach. Do not fill the feeder with hard foods, bones, seeds or unsuitable items. Remove the feeder if it opens, becomes jammed or the mesh is damaged.

How to clean the feeder

Empty out any leftovers immediately, soak the pouch in hot soapy water for a few minutes and scrub it inside and out with a small brush. Rinse thoroughly until all soap is removed and leave to dry completely before closing.
